Green Bay HeartCare Joins Prevea Health

With a focus on prevention and early diagnosis of heart disease, Peter Fergus, MD, and Green Bay HeartCare have joined Prevea Health.

Peter Fergus, MD, the founder of Green Bay HeartCare, is now Prevea's Director of Preventive Cardiology. In this role, Dr. Fergus will work closely with Prevea's team of interventional cardiologists (Steven Roh, MD; Gregory Schuchard, MD; and Timothy Tanke, MD) and cardiothoracic surgeons (Paul Pearson, MD; and John Seccombe, MD).

"It is my goal to expand my style of practice into this large system, increasing attention on prevention and early diagnosis, and identifying those patients with advanced disease who need angioplasty and bypass surgery before danger arises," Dr. Fergus said in a letter to his patients.

Dr. Fergus, who has cared for patients in Green Bay since 1975, will continue to care for patients at the Prevea Green Bay HeartCare location, 1727 Shawano Avenue, and at offices in Marinette and Sturgeon Bay.
